This section covers some of the common tasks performed using the software. Use the links to jump to the desired topic:
To lock/unlock the application
Complete the required fields on the screen. Required fields are displayed in blue text.
Click the Save button located at the bottom of the window. This saves the information you are working on and closes the window. NOTE: The Save button is not active until all required fields are completed.
In any window, click the Cancel button.
If you have not already saved your entered data, the system displays a message asking if you want to exit without saving. Click the appropriate answer. If you proceed with the cancellation, any information that has been entered into the window is discarded, and the window is closed.
There are two options for logging out of the application:
Click the File menu at the top of the window and select Logoff. If you have any windows currently open when you log off, a message is displayed asking if you want to close the window(s). Click Yes to close the window(s) and log off without saving your changes, or click Cancel to remain logged in, allowing you to save your changes in the open windows. Once logged off, the Login box is displayed, leaving the workstation available for the next user to log in with their credentials.
(Available in most applications) Click the Exit button on the speed bar. You may now leave the workstation. The next user will be required to restart the application using their own credentials.
Locking an application allows you to leave open any windows that you are working in for you to return to at a later time.
Click the Lock button (if available) on the main menu or select Tools > Lock Application. The Unlock Screen box is displayed, and the application is now locked.
The following options are available to unlock the application:
The logged-in user can click Unlock Application, log back in, and resume their session.
Another user can click Logon As Different User to start a new session.
Any user can click Exit to close the application.
