Bed Management is used to track the status and assignment of the available beds in the Emergency Department as well as the online ”waiting room.” For each ED Bed, you can assign a status, and also enter the patient or multiple patients that are dedicated to that bed. To access Bed Management, click the Bed Management button on the Dashboard.
You can assign patients to ED beds or the ”waiting room” using the Bed Management page. You also have the option to assign the patient to an ED bed or the waiting room while using other ED features, such as Triage (Immediate Treatment section), the Tracking Board, Registration (Patient Information > Visit Info tab), and Quick Registration.
