Terminate Employees

The Terminate Employees window is used to change an employee's status to Terminated and enter the termination date.

You can also terminate an employee by adding a Termination status history record via the Employees > Status History tab, or manually changing the Status field on the Edit Employee window to Terminated, and entering the termination date in the Termination Date field on the Employees > HR & Benefits tab.

To access the Terminated Employees window, go to Payroll > Admin > Terminate Employees. [+]

  1. In the Employee # field, click the Find button to select the employee number to be terminated.

  2. In the Termination Date field, select the date of termination. It should not be greater than current date.

  3. Click Terminate to terminate the employee, or click Cancel button to cancel and close the window.
